Business Listing Guidelines
Standards protecting the accuracy of the directory.
Eligibility
Listings must represent legitimate businesses serving South Carolina and comply with applicable licensing and industry requirements.
Accuracy
Owners must keep names, categories, locations, contact information, descriptions, websites, logos, and images accurate.
Verification
SMP may request proof of ownership or authorization. A verification badge reflects administrative review, not a legal or professional endorsement.
Prohibited listings
Unlawful activity, fraud, exploitation, deceptive practices, impersonation, and unsafe offerings are prohibited.
Enforcement
SMP may edit, suspend, downgrade, reject, or remove listings and accounts to protect users and the directory.
