About Danny Keith
Danny Keith has been a business leader in Santa Cruz County for over 15 years driving entrepreneurship to elevated levels for several non-profits and businesses. Danny recognized the power of social media from the get go, and was one of the first to launch a custom, social network built around skateboarding. It’s hard to define Danny Keith. He describes himself as a father, husband, philanthropist, entrepreneur, avid surfer, and a person who’s passionate about supporting the youth in our community and serving as a positive role model. He founded the nonprofit Grind Out Hunger, an educational program that engages local elementary, middle and high schools to raise food and money for hungry children in the community. 278,616 pounds were donated in 2010. Danny is the chief development officer for Second Harvest Food Bank and the owner of Santa Cruz Skate and Surf Shop.
